What are the different chakras? First, there is the red colored root chakra. It is located at the base of the spinal cord. A balanced root chakra makes you strong, secure and well-grounded. Located between the ribcage and navel is the red colored solar plexus chakra. When balanced, you will have more energy and be productive. If imbalanced, energy levels are reduced, insecurities arise and procrastinations. Green is the color of the heart chakra. This is located within the heart and is responsible for love. A balanced heart chakra leads to ease of forming emotional connections, love bonds and spiritual awareness. Blocked heart chakra causes loneness and chest pains.

The chakra responsible for our communication is the throat chakra, which is located in the throat and is blue in color. Clarity in communication results from a balanced throat chakra. If it is imbalanced, social anxiety and tension while talking can arise. On the other hand, the third eye chakra is indigo in color and located on the forehead. It this chakra is balanced; it gives us clear imagination and communication with the universe. If it is not, anxiety, depression and headaches may result.

Lastly, we have the crown chakra which is violet in color. Located at the top of the head, this chakra must be balanced for us to be open-minded and accept divine guidance.
